Sakura Workshop - Why Are We at This Workshop Table?

The most valuable thing I've learned throughout my design journey is the healing power of that moment when hand touches paper and ink touches water. Noobuu Workshops are not just technical training; they are an attempt to bring together Osaka's serene aesthetics, the discipline of architectural lines, and the spirit of memories with a brushstroke.

Our goal in these workshops is not to become perfect artists; it's to teach us to slow down through lines, notice the details around us, and gain the courage to put our own story on paper. When you leave the table, you won't just take with you a cherry blossom branch or a cityscape you made yourself; you'll take with you a new perspective, one that knows how to stop and observe amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Part I - The First Line and Character

It all begins with those delicate lines that are born from the first encounter between ink and paper. We lay the foundation of our workshop by capturing the unique, fragile, and delicate structure of cherry blossom branches on paper with brushes and pens.

Part II - Coloring

Once our lines gain character, we begin to bring the sakura blossoms to life with the translucent texture of watercolor. In this stage, where pinks and whites blend together, we feel the calm, spring-scented spirit of Japan on the paper.

Chapter III - Co-creation and Sharing

At the end of our workshop, we leave behind not just a drawing, but a shared story gathered around the table. Although the sakura that emerges from each person's brush is different, we transform our memories into immortal works of art through the unifying power of design.

A Workshop That Breaks Boundaries: Online Design Meetings

I'm opening the doors of my studio in Osaka to everyone, despite the distance. In our online workshops, conducted in small groups (maximum 6 people), we'll be touching the same paper and tracing the same ink, even though we're behind screens. Reserve your spot to draw and slow down together, from the comfort of your own home.
